FAQs
A few helpful answers before the big day.
We are encouraging our guests to get dressed up for the evening with us! We are requesting semi-formal garden party attire for our guests.
Ladies, think cute dresses or skirts, with fun colors and patterns encouraged. Gentlemen, think slacks or linen pants and a button-down shirt. No jacket and/or tie is required, but there is nothing wrong with going all out!
We are asking that you avoid jeans and the color white.
We have included a collage of the vibe we are going for!
Due to limited space, we are only able to invite the children we are closest with. Your RSVP information will clearly lay out how many seats we have reserved for your family.
If your children are invited, but you are wanting a mom-and-dad kid-free night out, you can decline their seat and we will not be offended. Our priority is that you would enjoy yourselves!
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the number listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out to us.
The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM. We are asking that you arrive at the church by 3:45 so that we can begin on time.
We would recommend arriving in the area of the church by 3:30 to make sure you can find a parking space and make your way inside.
Following the ceremony, cocktail hour will begin at 5:00 PM. The reception venue is less than a 5 minute drive from the church, so this gives you time to check into the hotel if you are staying in our room block, or just to make your way downtown.
There will be a wonderful team of venue staff making sure you can get comfortable while we wait for dinner to begin. Enjoy cocktail hour with good music, tasty snacks, fun booze, and fulfilling conversation. Dinner is set to begin at 6:00 PM!
Great question!
Ceremony
Unfortunately, our church does not have a parking lot, so parking is limited to the surrounding side streets.
Reception
There is a parking garage located immediately to the east of Delray 817, as well as several other parking garages in the Haymarket.
Please RSVP by June 10th so we can work on getting the final numbers to our vendors. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us personally.
YES! Delray has a full service bar with the most amazing bartenders to serve you all night long!
We will be providing an open bar with the exception of top shelf liquor, which will be cash if you choose that is what you will be drinking.
We want you to let loose and have a good time — keeping in mind that your hangover is your responsibility ;)
Dinner will be set up buffet style, where the catering staff will serve up your plates for you! The dinner menu can be found below.
As those closest to us know, we are not cake-enjoying people. So, we are telling you now to avoid the crushing reality that there will not be a wedding cake.
HOWEVER, have no fear, for there will be more cookies and dessert assortments than you can imagine.
We have paid a very talented photographer to capture the details of our day. We ask that you keep your phones away during the ceremony to focus your heart on the presence of the Lord — and let our sweet photographer, Elsa, do her thing!
You are welcome and encouraged to take photos and videos throughout the reception. We want to be able to look back on all our favorite people looking incredible and having fun!
A special request from Hailey:
Throughout the evening, I would love to take pictures with my favorite people wearing my favorite outfit! If I am wandering around or on the dance floor and you want a quick picture together, please just come ask!
